We’re getting our carpets replaced and are at the point where we have samples at home to choose the colour/style. The choice is challenging…
The dark piece at front is commercial carpet we are having layed in our second downstairs room. As for the upstairs selection, which would you choose?
Something not too dark, but not too light so you have to shampoo often. I think your selection for the downstairs looks too dark. I recall you had brown walls too, it’ll be like a cave!
I prefer a soft thick spongy carpet. Numbering your samples left to right, top to bottom, number 7 looks good.
Why not do without the carpet, and get floorboards?
We have hardwood in three rooms (the bedrooms and the library). After once living in an apartment of all hardwood, I’d say I prefer some carpet.
Using Bernard’s numbering scheme, I am tending towards 6 or 9.
And as for the downstairs, the panel shown just indicates the texture. The colours are on reverse and we’re choosing something very similar to our other downstairs room.
