Everyday

Well it’s the last day of my ‘vacation’ today, although I have been working half-days these past 2 weeks on my simulation and getting ready for class.

I’m teaching two sections of Electromagnetism this semester, on monday, wednesday and fridays. As of the other day I had just shy of 60 students in total, but enrollment is open to up to 50 per class so I may end up with quite a few more. First day of classes is next wednesday.

We’re in the middle of an evil, evil cold snap right now. Just a few minutes ago our thermometer read -3 outside, which seems impossible for 11am, but then KLS told me it was -10 when she left for work this morning. The forecast high for today is 14, but I wonder if we’ll get that high.

Not much else to tell. We bought tickets to this years New York Comic Con and are looking forward to going on February 8. I’m sure I’ll be blogging via my cellphone as I usually do…
