…for 30 straight days. (Or maybe even 32, since I didn’t plan this and wasn’t keeping track.)
What this means is, for 30 days in a row, I have eaten lunch out. Every single one of these meals was paid for, at a restaurant (often fast food.)
I’m honestly not sure what to make of this fact. I welcome some commentary – is this something to be proud of?
You’ve got a few years to go if you want to beat my record! 🙂
It used to be entirely normal for me to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner out. In Newcastle it’d be Macca’s, Subway, KFC or a burger from the fish and chip shop next door (can’t remember the name of it). In Mereweather there was a great chinese take away on the walk home from work, or it’d be Subway or fish and chips virtually every evening.
In Sydney I don’t think I ever prepared food at home, except perhaps when Lakshmi visited. I still miss the easily available home delivery, and the variety even though I’d always order the same thing.
I don’t think it’s a problem unless you think it is. It’s probably cheaper to eat at home, but it’s not always as convenient. Don’t eat Macca’s twice a day, five days a week like I did during uni and you should be fine.
Damn I’m hungry now…
