This was in a Korean grocery store, and yes they had a posing spot with the girls (of K-Pop Demon Hunters) as well. I hope I’m never too proud to pose for silly photos like this one 🙂
Today was just shopping, which resulted in mostly purchasing Asian snacks. I now have about half a carry-on suitcase full of turkey flavoured Cheetos and Japanese cotton candy, but KLS found some new cosmetic technology as well.
The rain stayed away in the morning, but the umbrellas came out after lunch. It was around this time I made the claim that if I could choose a life between endless sunny days and rain every day I’d choose the latter. Is that true?
At the end of every day the garbages on every street corner look like this and every morning of the next day they’re empty. One of the biggest complaints of tourists in Japan is the lack of garbages (Tokyo has none) but if NYC can do it surely so can they?
Times Square wasn’t very busy, probably because of the rain. The giant screens continue to spread, and there’s a few massive ones in side-streets now. The first time I saw Times Square was over 25 years ago now and it’s almost unrecognizable to then. I wonder what it will be like 25 years from now?
