“Life In The So-Called Space Age”
Despite being small, shorter and with only one inversion, the Scorpion was much more intense than Montu or Sheikra. I blame this on pre-computer aided design. The thing shook me around like a sackboy. and wasn’t pleasant at all! Only one coaster left to ride – Kumba!
Busch Gardens is a zoo in addition to (or perhaps moreso than) a thrill park. The hippo enclosure was quite beautiful and gave us a much closer look than we got at Animal Kingdom. It was interesting to watch the little fish cleaning the skin of the hippo.
Ah, Montu! Riding it was like visiting an old friend. This is one of the smoothest, longest and most beautiful coasters I have ever ridden and it was every bit as good as I remember. A masterpiece of engineering design! Vive la Montu!
