Sunday, May 10th, 2009Someone requested cat video from our new recorder, so I am happy to oblige.
Recently we’re discovered that Emi absolutely loves straws. And here is some video proof 🙂
A note on the video from this recorder. If you click on the HD button on the lower left you can watch the video (on youtube) in HW… but older computers or slow internet connections may have issues so in that case stick with the normal mode. Secondly, due to the aspect ratio of HD (16:9) I cannot embed these videos directly onto the blog due to formatting issues.
Anyway, we’re loving this camcorder and you can expect lots more video in the future!

Last Week
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009Yesterday was my last teaching day this semester, and the final exam is this Thursday (and, for some students, tomorrow). Fifty students will take the test, meaning 200 pages of grading for me to look forward to afterwards.
I plan on working diligently on my dissertation over the summer, but my boss seems hellbent on having me stick around to teach in the fall semester. Let’s see what happens…
