Here’s some more WoW screenshots from the new machine for those interested (yes, some are!)

And here’s a treat! The mac client can save movies, and here’s one I recorded earlier today of Florence and I failing to kill the final boss of Stratholme (live side). Despite my pessimism, I feel we could have done this given a second chance. Ironically my death was due to being killed by Florence, being mind controlled by the boss (although it looks like the boss does me in with a shadow bolt).

An iMac!!!

Yes, you read that correctly, a 2.4 Ghz, 20″ aluminium iMac with 2GB of ram. More details/impressions to follow…

Here’s a WoW screenshot. Running at 1680×1024 with all settings maxed I get 30-70fps depending on the zone I am in. The azeroth fps should be even greater…
