I’m looking forward to sending all my Hawaii postcards with Star Wars stamps!

In unrelated news we had a brief but intense snow storm this past Friday/Saturday which dumped about 20 inches of very dense, heavy snow on our fair city. For the first time, KLS and I had to admit we were beaten – shovelling would have taken many, many hours and been extremely strenuous. Furthermore, the snow wall at the end of the driveway from the plough pushing all the snow to the edge was waist deep…

Luckily our across the road neighbour lent us his monstrous snowthrower and I was able to clear the driveway in only an hour. Thanks neighbour!

Kristin is baking cookies for them as a ‘thank you’ as I type 🙂

Do I still look young?

Addendum (several days later): Holy Cow my hair looks bad in that photo!

It’s my birthday in 2 days, so get those gifts rolling in. However, at the risk of jinxing myself, I doubt anything will surpass an early gift I received this past weekend from Jim & Joyce:

That’s right! This baby has 3500 pieces (99% grey it seems!), measures 19 inches in diameter when complete, and will probably take me anywhere from 20 to one million hours to assemble 🙂
