“Life In The So-Called Space Age”
…for 30 straight days. (Or maybe even 32, since I didn’t plan this and wasn’t keeping track.)
What this means is, for 30 days in a row, I have eaten lunch out. Every single one of these meals was paid for, at a restaurant (often fast food.)
I’m honestly not sure what to make of this fact. I welcome some commentary – is this something to be proud of?

The other day, in Target, I found a most unusual example of this same figure on the shelves:

At first I thought it was a very, very unusual manufacturing error, but after some inspection it was obvious that someone had done this intentionally. It seems they had removed some tape on the back just enough to squeeze out the figure and replace his head and weapon (with the head from a GI Joe figure I believe), and then packaged it back up with such skill it wouldn’t be obvious to most people it had ever been opened.
My guess is this was done as a gag, and then returned to the store in the hope it would be restocked.
