We occasionally get deer in our backyard, but usually they seem to be simply ‘passing through’. So we were quite surprised the other day when we found they are apparently comfortable enough in the yard to use it as their living room…

Today is our 14th wedding anniversary! Congratulations to us!

Historically this would mean an ivory gift, but in the modern scheme it apparently means a sculpture…guess I should get shopping 🙂

Yossie loves her toys. Our house is riddled with them. They are everywhere

She loves them to death:

The left shot is the ‘after’; the right is what it looked like (more or less) new. We found the remains the other day. Notable is the fact that the nose remains, as well as one eye (the left eye). Everything else was gone. To date we only found a piece of black fur. We have no idea what happened to the white fur.

This is hardly the first toy mouse that has ended up in this state, and will not be the last 🙂

The other day we received the following in the mail:

I can’t imagine how much this lavishly packaged sample of Sheba cat food (chicken dinner flavour) cost to send us. And it won’t work, since we only feed the cats dry food. We’ll stash this in the cupboard, for a ‘rainy day’!
