“Life In The So-Called Space Age”
Loved the gifts. They arrived the Saturday before Christmas, and I got the 2 DVDs wrapped without KLS knowing about them. Suffice to say, they were a nice surprise 🙂
The blog is loading very very slowly recently (maybe you can look into this B?), but I want to get a sort of ‘year in review’ post up by Sunday. Let’s see if I can do that…
Hideo Kojima is one of those handfull of famous game designers, most known for his Metal Gear Solid series. However he’s also made a lot of other games (the awesome gameboy Boktai series included) and is about to release (in Japan) his first Nintendo DS game:
It’s called Kabutore (geddit?) and is a stock-market simulation game. Players buy and sell and whatnot, and the game apparently contains data taken from the Japanese Nikkei index since 2000, so it more or less simulates a ‘real’ stock market.
It’ll never come to America. But if it does, maybe this will be the straw that finally convinces Bernard to buy himself a DS 🙂

We have a christmas tree:
This year KLS’ parents will come and spend Christmas with us, so it’s only right we have our own tree for once. Up until now we have been using a 2 foot tall fibre optic tree, which would hardly be appropriate in this situation.
I have wrapped most of the gifts, but the ‘Yossi Factor’ prevents me from putting them under the tree. We’ll probably have to wait until Christmas Eve to do that 🙂
